Year 10
Students who enter Year 10 will be asked to choose from a list of elective subjects to provide breadth of study. All students will undertake a course in English, Health and Physical Education, Humanities and Social Sciences, Mathematics, Science and Wellbeing. They will then choose three more courses, one from the Arts, one from Design and Technology and one from Languages. In addition, a Philosophy course is available to be selected in place of either an Arts or Design and Technology course. It is a semester long course and although offered in both semesters, it can only be taken once.
In choosing these courses, each student should carefully consider their potential subject choices for Year 11, as each Year 10 course helps prepare students for specific Year 11 ATAR, General and IB Diploma courses.
