Year 7

Nathan WoodFebruary 8, 2018February 15, 2021

As boys enter Year 7 and the second year of the IB Middle Years Programme (MYP), they develop increasing independence in their learning and a stronger sense of identity. They are able to pose their own questions and locate the information required to answer them. They develop critical thinking skills to become more active learners who are curious about the world around them and their part in it. They analyse information and reflect on their learning processes and outcomes.

Students are assessed against the MYP criteria for each subject, and detailed, continuous reporting feedback from the teachers is provided online via Seqta Engage. The assessment schedules for each term are attached to the Middle School Assessment page of the Teaching and Learning website accessible here.
