Year 11 and 12 ATAR Pathway
This information is designed to help parents and students with the important academic decisions that need to be made for the transition from Year 10 to Year 11. This information is current for students who will be studying Year 11 courses from October 2020 and Year 12 courses from October 2021.
We have tried to compile this information in plain English but inevitably some educational language and terminology has been included. Please refer to the Glossary of Terms, available from the help menu, for the definition or meaning of some of the important terms and acronyms that have been used.
This information is only one of a number of resources to which parents and students may refer. Indeed, information such as this cannot include all the information about all the options for tertiary study, entry into the workforce or other vocational training. The summary, and sometimes changing nature of the information provided, makes it essential that the official documentation provided by each relevant institution is consulted.
