Certificate IV – Business

What is the Certificate IV in Business?

This qualification is suited to those working in roles at a more autonomous and authoritative level. These individuals are trained to develop finer skills and a broad knowledge base to apply solutions to a defined range of unpredictable problems and analyse information from a variety of sources. They will build leadership and guidance skills to afford them with self-leadership and some involvement in the output of others. Students who complete this course are awarded two C grades in Year 12 and one C grade in Year 11 towards meeting graduation requirements.

Course Content:
CORE UNIT
Implement and monitor WHS policies, proceduresand programs to meet legislativerequirements

ELECTIVE UNITS
Organise meetings, Coordinate business resources, Write complex documents, Show leadership in the workplace, Administer projects, Promote innovation in a team environment, Develop teams and individuals, Promote products and services, Make a presentation

To gain this qualification, you will be engaged in a performance-based project to assess your skills and competencies.

Peter is the College's Careers Advisor, working closely with students in Senior School he is available to advise students on all matters relating to future careers. Peter is also a key staff member in guiding the Year 10 students in their subject selection as they make choices for Years 11 and 12. He is also responsible for assisting students who are looking to attend university, locally, interstate and overseas.
