Students will develop skills using hand and power tools to construct a range of practical skill builders in a variety of materials including Wood, Metals and Plastics. This course will focus on design skills and the appreciation of design principles. Students will be encouraged to be creative problem solvers and develop their design skills through the MYP design cycle. There is a strong emphasis on working safely in the workshop setting. Students completing this course can choose any Year 9 Design subject.
