Week 4, Autumn Term 2019
Life returns to normal again as the Year 11 and 12’s resume back at school after their exam and work experience break and hopefully the ATAR boys have received some useful feedback from their results. Reality continues to hit the Year 12’s as they now enter their final Semester of school life, we encourage them to keep working hard and trying to improve.
One Week to go until the Mid Term Break and if you haven’t entered your leave we need it in now!!. For help with how to do this please see below.
Chapel with PLC – Date Change!!
Because of a mix up re activities for this Sunday, we have had to postpone the Chapel service with PLC to a later date. We will advise when this new date has been organised.
AG Day 2019
We have our annual Agricultural day (Ag Day), showcasing our rural community at lunch time on Tuesday 28th May this Term. This year we are inviting all three schools to our event which will include:
- John Deere Machinery (Tractors).
- JCB Machinery (More Tractors).
- RFDS stand (plane cockpit for boys to look around).
- Petting farm for the JS & MS boys.
- Coffee stand from Standin’ Room.
- Lambs on the spit for the MS and SS boys.
A big Shout Out to Simon Staines from New Holland and JCB Esperance for helping us out with some last minute machinery after we had another group pull out earlier this week.
The Junior School will be coming down to be involved in the day from 12:40 to 12:55 with the Middle and Senior School down from 12:55 to 13:30.
The day is an opportunity for our Boarding boys who come from our regional areas to showcase their lives and what living in a farming/regional community means to them.
This is the video that was shown at Assembly today to promote Ag Day 2019. It was made by Toby Egerton Warburton (Year 12) and contains footage taken directly by our boys. It is a terrific video and was very well received by all who have seen it.
Bib Track
Our Year 10’s and 11’s completed their latest Bib Track adventures and they were blessed by some beautiful, a bit cold at times, weather!! Here are some happy snaps!!
