Academic Support

We understand at Scotch College that every boy approaches education differently, and that more importantly, the individual needs of the learner must be supported. These requirements are met through the provision of the Academic Support Teams in Junior, Middle and Senior School. In each of the sub-schools, approaches vary based on the age, stage and needs of the boy with a view to provide appropriate care. Through a collaborative approach, each boy’s needs are identified, planned for, implemented and reviewed. In doing so, boys progress in a safe and positive learning environment, as they develop their independence.

Each of these specialist teachers assist you to understand the diversity of classroom strategies that may be applied and how this will support your son.
