Students will learn skills of story and production elements used to create media narratives. They take on various production roles including; director, cinematographer and editor. Students use production cameras designed for ‘shooting on the fly’, and the filming of moving images. This unit will initiate discussion on the importance of understanding the media and enhance visual literacy in our image-saturated world. This course is designed to provide skills and knowledge required for the ongoing study of Media in senior school. It further provide opportunity for developing team skills, including cooperation and collaboration, independence and organisation.
